Current sensor with digitized output signal
Hanuš, Ivan ; Vágner, Martin (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The objective of this thesis is to describe principles of measuring of alternating current in low voltage power supply network with Rogowski coil and to study details of requirements for electronic current sensor with digital output. Furthermore to study the current solution of digitalization of output signal from Rogowski coil and to determine metrological characteristics of the digitalization module for processing the signal from the Rogowski coil as current sensor and to design a concept of an electronic current sensor unit with Rogowski coil and the digitalization module with the expected optical output. The theoretical part deals with the measurement of current using Rogowski coil, its characteristics and advantages compared to conventional current transformers. Further in the thesis there are specified the requirements for current sensor. The practical part deals with the design of digitalization module consisting of a pair of AD converters, a microcontroller and output circuits. Furthermore, the thesis deals with digital signal processing of signal from Rogowski coil. Furthermore, the thesis describes firmware for microcontroller and PC application. The result of thesis is functional circuit of electronic current sensor that processes signal from Rogowski coil and converts it to digital form.
Microphone array application
Toman, Vít ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Fedra, Zbyněk (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with description of issues of reading spatial audio signals using microphone array. Basic method of beamforming (Delay and Sum) is characterized on basis of chosen conception of the microphone array. Specific issues of audio detection and digital signal processing of converted audio signals are characterized and some ways how to solve the issues are adumbrated. Features and limitations of chosen ARM processor in the digital processing of multiple audio signals are described. Especially features and limitations of an internal A/D converter from the perspective of the beamforming are described.
Digital signal processing of mitochondrial genomes
Sonnenschein, Jiří ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Škutková, Helena (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to test new less hardware demanding method of mitochondrial genom classification, for which numerical representation of biological sequences is used. Introductory part is focused on description of nucleic acids and mitochondrion. In following part of thesis, types of numerical representation of biological sequences without losing the original biological information are described. There are introduced possibilities of phase and frequency-domain analysis and principles of cluster analysis and dendrogram construction methods. Practical part of this work deals with analysis of mitochondrial genome for which cumulated and unwrapped phases are calculated. Mitochondrial sequences are compared by cluster analysis and dendrogram is constructed.
